Winter Mode!
So theres this big snow storm supposedly going to hit Wisconsin this coming week. Could drop up to a foot of snow. That being said what perfect time to get my car ready for snow. Weathertech floor liners. Awesome purchase, they say they only fit the automatic cobalts but they lie. Clutch pedal clears no problem along with the gas pedal. No issues, no trimming what so ever.
Installed an arm rest from a base model, not really snow related. This was the one thing I was upset about when I bought the car, NO ARM REST! So this was a must and it was easy, took about 30-45 minutes and I'm loving it already. E-brake does hit the bottom of it when I park but not an issue for me, just lift the arm rest up a little and its good to go.
Found Ion Redline wheels on Craigslist for cheap. Got them blasted because they were spray bombed and had plasti-dip over the paint. Sent them to get powder coated black. Bought another set of wheels and tires off Craigslist 17" Sport Edition wheels with Blizzaks on them for a pretty good deal. Tires are basically brand new 225/50/17. Sold the Sport Editions because they were off a BMW. Redline's fit over the brembo's, its pretty close but they fit with no spacers.
BRING ON THE SNOW!!!
