Put oem lights back in. I'm assuming you are still under warranty. They won't cover your housings when they melt. It also defeats the purpose of having fog lights.

If those are H.I.D light bulbs in the fog lights they could potentially melt. You obviously don't understand the purpose to having fog lights. I'm not going to get into detail. I never said it looked bad. It looks alright but you have had to dumbest reply I have seen in a while.

If hes not running a relay harness maybe. Ive heard of bulbs melting but not HIDS. HIDS run cooler then bulbs only thing that could melt is the wiring, and thats usually caused by high wattage bulbs not HIDS.

uhhhh, you make no sense... HIDs run cooler than halogens.. the color temp has nothing to do with temperature.. and i have NEVER heard of a melted fog light housing EVER on here from running HIDs... sooo not to be rude but maybe you need to rethink..

Maybe I should take pictures of my buddies G8 housings. Hotter or not. Fog lights are 3,000 Kelvin for a reason. I'm not here to argue. Go on with the thread.

im not here to argue either... but still im curious as to what your getting at.. Kelvin temps on HID bulbs has nothing to do with how hot they are.. ive been running 5000k HIDs in fogs for 3 years already.. n stock bulbs are nowhere near 3000k stock.... idk i just confused as to what your getting at..

not tryna add to the potential arguement.. haha, but i've had green HID and purple HID foglights for the last 2 years.. and nothing has melted or anything. i mean i only put them on at night time, so maybe that helps.

i just have a SS rear lip. it's colormatched. i have a few performance mods too. not e everything is visual. thanks everyone for all the feedback

Our stock ones are 4300K (white) correct me if im wrong. Maybe in Canada they require yellow fogs like they do in Europe.
