Are you running a cat with that set up and did you notice any performance increase with it?

 

has a high flow cat, muffler and resonator... feels like I lost a little bottom end (very little) but top end is much better

 

I am going to run a 2.75 in. downpipe with no cat to a 2.75in side exhaust with no muffler just one resonator.

 

not feelin it at all..... sorry

gonna be extremely loud... I had it with just the muffler (12 inch magnaflow) and thought I was gonna go deaf, plus got pulled over three times in one day... car will rippp./.. but watch for cops

its gonna be a lot louder than you would think..... we didn't thnk it would sound like it did thats why I added the resonator....

 

that seems like its just asking to get knocked by a speed bump. but id love it with a bologne cut tip.

 

Once we finish tucking it up its fine (muffler that is)... I haven't hit it on anything yet and I drive through the city everyday... were it is by the wheel doesn't cause me any clearence issues.

 

How much sound difference did you notice when you added the resonator?

 

cut it down a good amount... sounds deeper now..

 

for the record on a car with stock ride hieght the pipe doesn't get in the way at all . And also I don't run anything but a cat and it sounds really good . you could compare it to the way an SRT 4 sounds with full exhaust . I lost a lil bottom end for awhile but just had the car ran through at the dealership and a friend of mine tuned it in a lil better . it still lacks a tiny bit of bottom end but mid range to high end is awesome !

 

exactly..... car pulls amazing at mid to top end... retuning friday to get a little more bottom end back... but I"m definatley pleased.... plus it scares the **** outta people.... funnny no more hondas trying to race me... I love it

 

about how much did it all cost, the side exit exhaust. how big of a pipe and what type of exhaust?

 

Why do you have it going back so far??? Why not a foot behind the front wheel or so?

very similar to my car. only I did a turn down instead of side exit. I have no muffler/no cat/ no nothing. lol. it's not that loud honestly. but the turbo helps out with that. when I get on it, it's loud, but sounds good.

 

yeah,.... well this thing is beyond loud my friend....I"ve had people let go of their steering wheels to cover their ears when I go wot past them
