it gets worse...

that's what the dyno said
I had 148
+ 5 hp with the cold air=153
+15 hp with the mass air flow = 168
+13 hp with the stage = 181

These overly priced GMPP's are WHACK! that sound could easily be recreated for 1/3 the cost.
you'd be amazed at how much a full catback flow better than stock, if you don't want to do a full catback atleast get an over the axle piece and then a muffler.. search the classifieds on here, craigslist, etc. i found my gmpp on craigslist from a member on here and got 1 hell of a deal on it and it sounds and performs awesome. you never know what you may find. i have a ss/sc manifold sitting in my garage but i want to get a k&n cai and then a zzp 2.5 catted dp at some point and then possibly a tune.. and at some point i'd like to get on a dyno just for ***** and giggles to see what number's i actually have...

Was thinking of doing header/dp in the spring because I really don't want to put so much money into an sc setup; this is still my DD and I go to university..

but what (give or take) upgrade in power should I expect?

for simple, cheap bolt ons; that sounds good to me! I really don't even want to see how much a full turbo/sc would cost me. Even though I could most probably afford it, I don't want to put THAT much into this car..
