Got my new rims...

Blue valve covers and lug nuts to match the calipers. Other than that the outside is all black so its not like its overdone or anything.

an STi is not a WRX.

and stock 305 horsepower and 290 torques in a machine that weighs only 100kg more? Don't get me wrong, I love our cars and I love what each and every one of us do to them, showing love and all, but the impreza is still a renown better car...for starters, it lasted more than 5 years.

its all a matter of what you want in a car... they are reknown for their awd and boxer sound n thats about it (not really performance, nor interior). I mean yea you can mod them but you can do that with any car, the parts are really pricey. everyone on this site seems to nuthug them just because of the awd, which is completely retarded to say the least. AWD has its major drawbacks along with its positives (which lets admit the only positive is the traction to prevent spinning whether on dry or wet or snow). the drivetrain losses is enough to make me not want one, let alone the extra maintenance. Even then the drivetrain doesnt really benefit handling in most real world conditions you see on a daily basis unless you launch from digs at every light . I for one would never utilize an AWD car to its limits, FWD is all I need. Ideally RWD is best for performance IMO

oh, and start looking up what prices of everything on those things cost... uhmm yea ill take a budget friendly, good mpg, low insurance costing, and FASTER (for the money) cobalt ss. Heck even for as much flack as our interiors get, they really arent that bad in the ss's. us base models are kinda an asterisk on that though

But in the end its all a matter of what you like.. i have a buddy that swears by his stage 2 WRX.. is it nice? yeah. is it fun? sure! is it something I would want? probably not.

Its just too much fun being considered an underdog in the cobalt platform while in comparison to them all the time.

hahahaha!
but when I go snowboarding in the midst of crazy snowstorms (my motto is: the harsher the drive, the better the ride) and this winter I really feared for my life at times going up and down those slippery ass unplowed hills. I had brand new bridgestone blizzak tires too. I love the 'balts, no matter how much hate they get, but I do feel like GM dropped the ball when they made the interior...and for god's sake why do I still have drums instead of disk brakes.

anyway, that's enough rant! I'm stuck with this baby until I become a pharmacist and have money to spend on something else
Til then I'll just enjoy my daily commutes in my baby!
