None of what any of you siad sounds like your cars are running good. That's why I said what I said. If you have to constantly monkey with it that's not a "solid" tune. I'm not ******* on your set-ups, but if you can't add boost, get a tune and drive then that's too much of a hassle.

If a tune was available that allowed me to turn on my car and drive it reliably without forever having to dick with it I'd do it. That's what I meant. Nobody has the magic tune that works everytime.

I talked about turbo kit vs my other plan mentioned. He agreed I should forget the turbo idea, even though he'd like me to keep up with him. He's got a 2008 Volvo S60 T5 over 315whp with just a tune, that thing hauls ass.

Once I go HPT(very soon)My tune will be solid and i'll never have to touch tuning again unless I turbo swap or some other stupid shenanigans. But I am hungry for a Coyote 5.0 and I get mad discounts on fords lol

I dont really agree with this. yes, there are some that have attempted to boost their 2.2/2.4 and been unsuccessful, BUT I think the ones that do run great definitely out number the ones that dont. in the past two years, i've turbo'd & SC'd two different 2.2s, both of which run amazing.

i'm curious as to my 1/4 mile, but I want to drive it normal for a while before trying although, i was at the track last night and it was VERY tempting, but i didnt lol

you and me freaking both. but my datalogs look fine apparently. mine are like anywhere from 10 to 17 sometimes at idle, which is obviously NOT good. but cruising & under boost, they're spot on, until i let off the gas and like coast, in which case, it drops to like 11 and i get dashes, then when i get back on the gas it goes from 17 back down to normal at cruise. idfk. i e-mailed vince about it last night so we'll see what he says.

Just a question here about sidkesirts. How many have installed them? How did you do it? Drill the holes or just use double sided tape and the clips on the ends and bottom?

i lined them up how i wanted them. used chalk string and snapped it against the line where the clips would go. put some paint on the clips and pressed them against the body of the car. that showed me where to drill. Then i drilled holes and installed. pretty easy really

the top are the crucial clips. those are what hold it in place firmly up against the bod of the car

2 years here with no sags. Keep in mind most of the people who promote drilling arent in wintery areas. Winter+salt= bad news
