Painted S/C
just got finished painting the blower, still need to install it though.
it turned out great, i cant wait to get it back in the car. i'm still debating whether i want to polish the ribs on the blower or not, what do you guys think?

my car is black
i dont think it'll be too bad, black does attract heat, but in the form of light. in total darkness if the blower was white, theoretically it would be the same temp.
i'm not expecting much of an increase in temps, if any at all. we'll see once it's installed.

i started prepping the s/c last week, so that portion was already done. most of the time was eaten up just waiting for each coat to dry, i'd say from start to finish probably about 6 hours of work.
removing it seemed easy, i had the help of a couple friends who've done it before. basically just unhooking the hoses, removing the belt off of the pulley and then unbolting the thing. getting the belt back on was a pain in the butt though.

heh, make sure when you try to tackle your own paint projects to prep. cleaning and sanding is always a must. depending on the project, primer is a good idea too. take your time and your project will turn out nice. half assing only gets you half assed results, ya know?
