Thumbs up Quarter Panel Replacement

Ive been out of school and working at a body shop for about 6 months now. Mostly I do the smaller jobs and part replacements, but last week they gave me my first major panel replacement job on an 06 Lincoln LS. I do not do the paint work. Feel free to leave comments.

This is funny. Of course it looks new....you're looking at photos online. You would only likely see possible imperfections if you were looking with a trained eye in person. Unless its a really shitty job, but the pics look ok so I guess the job isnt too bad.

I'm not necessarily doubting your skills. I just think its funny that people here can try to make a valid judgement based on the pictures alone. If your more experienced coworkers around you are giving props on the quality of your work that then I say thats awesome especially for a guy with only 6 months of experience, and thats if you actually did ALL of the body work & prep work all by yourself without any help from anyone. I worked in paint & body for almost 3 years doing mostly prep work but I know first hand what this field is like. The appearance of the bodies before prep & paint can be deceiving if you're not careful. If the body work isnt absolutely perfect, it WILL show through when priming while at the same time being even more evident after the painting is finished. LOL Its a big fvcking headache especially with a light pearl paint color like that one.
