ive seen some stupid threads on here sometimes.....but just like everyone else stated,

a typical forum troll stepped into a perfectly fine thread and accused one of our long term members of rigging a race just to make himself and the cobalt look good.

thats me and the same goat man! that race was from 40-100, and he had the inside lane of a long ass turn, i also had a passenger in that run. the inside turn is what made it so clse

I was the same way...I would have laughed at you guys if you pulled up wanting to race my Camaro ss about 6 months ago...but you know what...I would have stuck my foot in my own mouth. It is so funny because you hear all these people talk about..quartermile this and quartermile that...quartermile doesn't mean **** on the street...and it's the guys who think that it does...who really don't have a clue.

Not sure why it is so hard to believe a car with 250+ whp, 4:05 gearing and 2900lbs is capable of beating a 3500lb car with 3:23's or 3:42's (if stick), with 300 whp...maybe someone should go to the GTO forum and do some math for them? I used to race GTO's all the time...the LS2's are ******* fast..no doubt, but not unbeatable and the LS1's are extremely respectable...but are certainly not above getting beat by a car that is turbo'd or supercharged for that matter. I guess there is something about owning a N/A v-8 that makes you think your ablls are bigger than your pants?
