since today was so nice, i decided that i would paint my grilles black, to go with my 4th gens. it turned out better than i thought it would. 3 coats on the upper grille, 4 on the lower grille. no clear. heres the pics:

i couldnt put the lower grille in, as i would have to untape my broken one, and im getting a new bumper in like a week so i thought there was no point.

 

the grill looks good!

uh... it looks nice and all... but i would have spent the time lookin for a new hood, fender, and bumper cover... wth did you hit?

Y wouldn't u clear it? I imagine rocks would chip it fairly easily without the clear

I have all the parts I need to fix my car. I'm just waiting on paint. Shouldnt be more than a week. But like the dude411 said some ******* was running from the cops and rammed me. I ran out of clear anyways I dont know how shiny it would be with the clear, I didn't want it toooo shiny
