question bout g5 to cobalt rear bumper swap

What is the best way when rewiring the reverse lights from the g5 bumper to the cobalt decklid?

if you have the rear trunk then just cut the wires and add an extension. theres a grommet on the left of the trunk that leads to the outside. that would be easiest

The wires going to the reverse lights on the g5 bumper are probably long enough to run to the new deck lid. I don't remember if the bulbs are the same though. If they're different, you would have to cut off the g5 connectors and splice in the cobalt connectors. The side markers are the same, along with the third brake light and everything else. Post some pictures when you get everything swapped.

Not yet,I'm waiting on my new front bumper to come in,then gonna take everything to get it painted so my car will be down for only a day instead of close to a week.should have pics up in a week or 2,depending on when she has time off work to paint my parts.
