05 2.2 will not start... any help?
I have a 2005 2.2l base sedan. on the coldest day of the year (0 degrees) I came out of class after my car sat for 2 hours. wouldn't start and wouldn't jump. had it towed to my house. didn't check codes, unhooked the battery before I thought of that... dumb.. But it will not fire.
Anyways, I believed it to be electronic, and so far i've replaced the starter, the coil pack, ignition control module, the spark plugs, and the crankshaft sensor. also I gave it an oil change because it was due... still no start. The only thing I can think of is that maybe something is wrong with the timing chain. I'm not very savvy with cars but I get by. Can anyone help or give me any ideas? I'm becoming slightly desperate.

Gas,spark or not turning over.
If not turning over, is the starter clicking?
Which one do you not have?
Lets start here
Pull plugs ,
Are they wet with gas?

If you let a battery go dead in freezing weather and leave it,the electrolite will freeze and warp the plates in the battery ruining it.
Sometimes if you unthaw it and charge it it will come back but that is usually luck.

The battery's been in my garage for 2 weeks and when we tried charging it we got nothing. And the New battery didn't get her starting either , but it sure as hell tried harder.
so, checked the timing chain... after cycling it a couple times we realized it had jumped 5 or 6 teeth. and the tensioner "plunger" was shot to hell so I'm hoping that is my problem... word of the day is: "hope"!
