So my sister bouhgt an 05 base model cobalt a few weeks ago. It's an auto 2.2L. And when ever she is at a dead stop and outs the emergency brake on. The ABS light comes on as soon as the handle is pulled up ? As well as when she is coming to a stop the abs kicks in lightly just before she is at a full stop. The brakes have been checked and cleaned and re-greased. But the problem still happens. Any idea's ? Especially about why using the ebrake would cause the light to come on ?

 

Check/clean the sensors and wires

 

Have it scanned.
It will tell you which wheel speed sensor is bad.
