06 chevy cobalt ss/sc

Just bought the vehicle a week ago and was driving fine then i was driving down the road and just quit and would not start, towed it home. it is cranking but it wont start. Unplugged the battery for 15 mins then car starts, runs for about 5 mins then quits out again. hooked up a code reader and no codes are coming up... cleaned and switched out the throttle body still same problem, changed the battery still no progress. Fuel pump is working( i can heard it and have pressure) Does anyone have any ideas on whats going on with it? Its a 2006 chevy cobalt ss/sc 2.0 LNF with the ZZP stage 3 kit
Thanks

Did you actually verify that you have fuel pressure or just assuming because you heard the pump running? I would really think this would be fuel related, or maybe spark. I had a fuel pump die on me before and the same thing happened to me it just died while going down the road. One thing you can do after cranking for a while and it doesn't start is to pull your plugs and see if they look damp or dry.

You don't have an 06 SS/SC with an LNF and a zzp stage 3 kit.

You have an LSJ and this post should be in the problems/service subforum.

Also it's extremely hard to diagnose anything like this with no codes over the internet.

diagnosing it yourself is going to depend on what tools you have at your disposal. if you have a fuel pressure gauge put that on and watch what happens when it stalls and when you try to restart it. if it wont restart right after it stalls check for spark. really you need a proper scan tool (not a code reader) or hp tuners so you can watch the data stream and see what happens when it stalls. you could have a faulty sensor, could be losing voltage to the ecm, its really hard to say.

if you dont have the tools and equipment to diagnose it you should find a shop that can. i know people would rather do it themselves but having a shop diagnose and repair it can be a hell of a lot cheaper than firing the parts cannon at it

Just making sure you understand which engine you have, didn't mean for it to sound dickish if it did, I'm in technical dry writing mode.

The LNF slave cylinder and shifter bracket shouldn't be effecting the starting or running of the car.
