car is 2010 SS
When I'm in 1st gear and low RPM and go WOT, the car shakes like crazy i boost to only about 5 PSI and engine doesn't sound good.
If I go WOT at about 4k RPM its ok but only boost ~5PSI as well.
I'm more concerned about the shaking at low RPM though... What is this.
My mods are H&R springs, K&N SRI and catless.

WOT is 1st? Even on a stock TC that's tire ripping for sure.
Anyway....WOT at 4K should peg the boost limit on that car....15-17 lbs. Something's wrong..boost leak?

EDIT: I was thinking 4th gear here for the boost! He wasn't talking about 4th gear! My bad.

besides 1st gear all other is fine, can it still be leak

 

i really dont remember because i havent drove my car in months but i dont think it hits full boost. and it isnt needed at all seeing that our first gear is nothing.

Wheel hop would be my guess.

 

If it's hopping and unloading the engine ....it would cause it to lose boost presure. I had wheel hop with my 06 SS/SC and it was bad ...... it was so pronounced that there was no way to mistake it for anything else.

 

Flooring it in 1st..definitely. BUT>>>your boost is not right for 4th gear WOT.

Yea..your boost should be limited in 1st gear.
Wheel hop is very common..do not floor it in 1st!
