Mine's 5 mths old and just got the SQUEEK on the driver's side. Still can't figure out what it is and only happens over bumps. I think I'll bring it to the dealer and have them take it for a ride WITH ME IN IT of course

I have had mine for 2 months and 1500miles. I had the weird idle thing and took it to the dealer, they said it had a computer error that caused a miss fire in cyl.#2. He said that they loaded a new code and that fixed my only problem(knock on wood). I love my SC and its faster than all my friends hondas and there not stock like mine!!hahahahaha

I have had mine for 1 month, 850 km now. Not one issue. No problems when I picked it up. Only thing I have seen that is still a persistent problem is the doors. They are missaligned a bit and rub on the front quarter panel when you open the door if it is way below zero. One of the mechanics at my dealership has one and had to get it re-painted under warranty.

Otherwise the fit/finish and quality of the car is first rate so far. I hope it stays that way!

New cars always have problems. That said, I don't think that this car is worse than any other new car. In reality, most people who have had problems have had some minor issues.

Just my $0.02!!!

ya for the most part the issues have been minor, im still fighting the dealership for the painted rims, they said its not too bad so they dont wanna do anyuthing yet....a week later im missing a chunk of paint by right at the lip of one of the rims lol, well see what they say in a week when the DSM comes for the second time to look at my car, other than that nothing to really compalin about so far.

I have an '06 LT Coupe with the sport package. It was bought in December and now has just over 4,000 miles.

I had the trim problem on the passenger door (fabric coming out from under the pull cup). An additional plastic trim ring GM issued for this problem was installed around both door pulls. It's also been in the dealer a few times to try to fix a creak that comes out of the pillar at the right hand side of the back window whenever going over speed bumps or the body torques. They pulled off the plastic trim and put in new insulation material, but it was still there. After the third attempt it stopped, but the weather has also gotten warmer - I'm betting it will come back in the fall when it gets cold again.

On the same morning I last took it to the dealer for the creak, it wouldn't start. The dash lit up, but the engine wouldn't turn over. I shifted the transmission out of park to neutral and it started. The service rep said it was probably the neutral safety switch and it wasn't fully in park the first time I tried to start it. They checked it and couldn't find anything. Yesterday, leaving work, it wouldn't start. Same thing...finally got it started, but instead of starting right up as usual, I had to crank it several times before it got going. This morning, trying to leave for work, it wouldn't start at all - dash lit up, but wouldn't crank no matter what I did, so it ended up going to the dealer on a flatbed. I like the car's design and the way it drives, but I'm starting to regret buying it, and I'm not feeling too good about it's long-term dependibility.
