Your car wouldnt run very well if the cam timing jumped

And when i say ignition im talking about the coil packs firing the plugs, not the part you put your key in

No I had 2 recalls for ignition. I had one for where I put keys in and then the one for all of the electrical part I guess. So would I need to get all new coil packs? I bought all new spark plugs and stuff.

Okay, so I'm taking the car to Chevy today and they're doing a full diagnostic. They said that the crank relearn was just for the idle timing and stuff. But they said theyd do the diagnostic for free if I got the repairs there lol. Not doing that.

Things aren't plugged in right or the harness got damaged.

Shittt. So I have to essentially get a new harness. Chevy trying to say that they wanna take the front cover off and check timing and all that. I'm about to bring it back to my mechanic.

Dropped in a full motor. Was brand new 0 miles so that's why I'm saying I don't see how the timing would be messed up. So I have to get him to pull motor and redo the harness?

Odds are slim to none a crate motor came fcked up.

It's something hooked up wrong somewhere.

That's what I'm saying. And once it starts it runs outstanding except the a/f dropping to 10.2. And it's weird cause he used the same harness and everything. Is there anyway to do it without pulling the motor or no?

P0017 Crankshaft Position (CKP) - Exhaust Camshaft Position (CMP) Correlation - ECM, PCM
P0011 Intake Camshaft Position (CMP) System Performance ECM
P0118 Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor Circuit High Voltage -PCM
P0300 Engine Misfire Detected -PCM

p0017 is more then likely a misstimed cps housing(could be out of time engine butit was a complete unit)
p0118 is more then likely a bad temp sensor or wire if either is the case the engine will not come out of rich warm up and cause the car to run rich all the time
p0300 from running rich
p0117 i have no idea unless the engine os out of time

Well she starts right up again. Mr.b was right. Crank sensor was off. A/f still goes low sometimes but other than that it runs perfect. Getting code for multiple random miss fire. Gunna get new coil packs and see if that helps. Thanks everyone for any input given its appreciated.
