Alarm won't disable, but car starts fine
Earlier this year I decided to purchase a tuned PCM for my 06 cobalt and everything works great until I lock the car. When I unlock it using my key as I never received fobs when I got the car the alarm goes off as usual but when I put the key in the ignition and start the car it doesn't disable. Car starts runs and drives fine. I disconnect the battery put my stock PCM back in and the alarm disables. Looking for ideas as to why this is happening. Is it bc I don't have a fob?

Fairly certain it is because you arent usimg the FOB, it was a glitch in the early cobalts. Try manually locking the drivers door and see if that works.
Otherwise you could wire in a horn kill switch to prevent the alarm from going off everytime you open the door.
