Thumbs down Awful knock!!!

Well about a week ago I went from being able to do WOT pulls in any gear and get no knock to now getting up to 5 degrees. I know that heat soak can cause knock and its been really hot here for three weeks straight but I wasn't getting any knock for the first two weeks of the hot weather. I also tried putting in octane booster but that did nothing. I just bought a cobra h/e and it should be here this week. Does anyone have any idea of what my problem could be.

I was thinking maybe I needed some finer tuning. I just don't know why for the drastic change. I just had it tuned in july and the weather hasn't changed that much.

No cooling mods and a 2.7... Your going to need ot suck some timing until you get a dual pass or meth.

Your going to need more than the Cobra H/E. I didn't notice much of a change at all when I installed mine. Meth or a Dual Pass are the way to go!

With a Cobalt: Wide Open Throttle
WIth a VW: Waste of Time j/k

I have heard it referred to as Warm Operating Temperature as well, but most gearheads on here seem to use the Wide Open Throttle version
