Bad Creek over bumps....

My ss/sc is making a horrible noise over bumps. It is the loudest creek I have ever heard. Are there any known problems with these cars for this noise?

I had/ have this noise too. I've had it in a few times, but they can't seem to re-create the noise over the bumps for the Front, but the rear they replaced my rear axle bushings and that fixed the problem in the back.

From what I've seen on here, the front is the Front Sway bar bushings, I can't confirm this though, since whenever they take it out they can't re-create the noise. My noise only happens when its wicked cold out, now that it's warmer I probably won't notice until next winter.

It's because once the rubber bushings warm up they become more pliable and do what they are supposed to do. I've noticed the noise go away after 45 min of driving. Like I said above, if it's the same problem as mine, we probably won't notice it again untill next winter.

I had that problem on the Passenger side so I sprayed the bushings with some lube and it went away. I think road salt plus the cold make this happen.
