Bad fuel pump/filter?? E85 lsj
Hello fellas,
Seems if I have another issue the last couple days.
Started 3 days ago on the interstate on the way to work. Was cruising in 5th gear when all of a sudden the car sputters out. Every time I pushed the gas pedal it would not want to go anywhere.
I then pulled over, turned car off and sat for a few
Started it back up and was good. Then a few minutes later the same thing happened
Then as soon as I got off interstate it stopped
Then yesterday the same thing happened. For a second I though I ran out of gas the way it was sputtering.
Seems weird that it seems to only happen on the interstate.
Any input? Bad pump or fuel filter?

Been on e85 for 5-6 months

No codes? That almost sounds like reduced power mode, makes the car sputter and not respond to throttle input.
When did you last change the filter? If it's been more than a year or you don't remember, change it anyway. Then log your fuel trims on the highway, if they start going way positive before this happens, then yes you have a fuel supply issue.
Or you could change the pump anyway, the housings are starting to fail on the earlier cars by this age and due to your future fuel supply needs it wouldn't be a bad idea to upgrade to a larger pump at the same time.

i'd say check your pressure first it should be in the 60 (i think?) psi range at idle and stay there while driving and in boost but either way your filter could be replaced, especially now that youre on E
