Bad Grinding On Left Turns

So, I am on my way home tonight and I throw the car into a left turn pretty hard and I get that INSANE grinding noise coming from the front left of the car. It scared the crap out of me. I pulled over and checked the wheel and everything and it was all tight. I continued to drive home and I took a couple rights and there was no noise. Then I took another left onto my street and I get the grinding noise again!

Anyone know what could be causing this? Could it be the Ingalls Engine Torque Damper?

Check your wheel shroud. Mine rubs too and I think it's my intake (K&N).

Do you have a LSD cause that can cause a grinding noise when turning. When that happend to mine i took it to the dealer, the tech told me it was the LSD trying to lock up the wheels.

A friends of mine had a similar problem with his ION redline but in the rear end. Turned out the caliper was sticking from time to time for whatever reason

My front passenger snow tire rubbed against the trim along bottom of fender (inside rear of wheel well).

The one screw inside the wheel well holding it was too tight from factory - it is warped just a bit inside wheel well now.

Rubbed the blue paint off the black plastic a bit - can't be seen unless you kneel down with the wheel off.

I have LSD so I guess it could be that. I don't think the tire is rubbing anf it isn't the Intake because it is coming from the right of the car.

I am going to listen for it fro a couple days and see if I hear it again. Tonight was the first time.
