So i had my dad boost my car, the car was completly dead no battery life at all, got the boost and its running fine...so since i didnt leave anything running there must be a short in the line somewhere, what should i do??

 

maybe the battery is bad, get it tested

 

check to see if ur grounded out

 

check the alternator. check the battery voltage, should be around 12.7 or so with the car off. start the car, check the voltage again, should be over 14. if it doesn't go up, it's a bad alternator

 

I had a cell go bad and the battery wouldn't even turn my car over, I say check the battery
