Hello everyone, I am new to the forum, so I hope this is the right place to post this. I recently got a 2009 Cobalt SS that has a B1001-00 Option Configuration Error code. I checked everything out with my Tech 2 software and the VIN isn't programmed to the BCM, but it is saying it is locked, and I have read that this means it has already been programmed. The BCM also only reads 6k miles, so my guess is someone tried to replace it and did something wrong. Then I bought a new Delphi BCM. When I went to program it, it says possible wrong vehicle selected and to reselect vehicle. I can program the SDM number to the BCM just fine and also can look at Module ID information, it's just giving me the error when I go to set up a new module. I am completely at a loss. Has anyone else had this problem or know what is going on?
