Discontinued shift cables and bracket/module on trans?

Long story short, aftermarket cable clamp bushing broken/was completely gone. Tow the car home, order ottp clamp, worked fine for one trip to work then bam same symptoms again but stuck in 5th gear this time. Get it towed home, opened it up again assuming I somehow installed the cable clamp wrong but it was working fine. Cable still moved back and forth freely, but not engaging gears at all. Next thing I assumed it was roll pin used to happen a lot on my old LSJ. Tore into it, and it was fine. Realizing this is out of my personal scope of skills, I had it towed to a shop. Been there for about a week, they finally update me saying I need a new cable AND a bolt broke off internally on the shift module on the trans that the cables hook up to. Now realizing both the cables and the shifter module on the trans are discontinued… what are my options? Find a part out? I’m seeing mixed reviews on LSJ cables working on LNF. Some say they’re too short, some say they fit perfect. Any help is appreciated… this is my daily so I’m sort of scrambling trying to figure out my next move.

LSJ and LNF cables should be identical considering you can put a LSJ trans on a LNF and vice versa without messing with those.
