Blinker on a 07 2.2L Coupe

I notice whenever I use the signals they do work and flash, but there is no clicking noise of the circuit opening and closing..and from what I can tell there is some kind of flasher module or something? Have not got my haynes manual yet..just something I was curious about. Is there a way to enable or disable it?

you can change the volume :The radio is used to adjust the vehicle’s chime level. To change the volume level of the chime, press and hold the preset push button 6 with the ignition on and the radio powered off. The volume level will change from the normal level to loud, and LOUD will appear on the radio display. To change back to the default or normal setting, press and hold the preset push button 6 again. The volume level will change from the loud level to normal, and NORMAL will appear on the radio display. Notice: Each time the chime volume is changed, three chimes will sound to indicate the new volume selected.

Turned out my driver side speaker is blown. If I raise the volume of the music, and then lower it the speaker will work then go out and come back. Going to order some speakers from crutchfield.
