blown crank fuse, 06 SS/SC
Had the wife call me about a month ago to come to the store her car wont start. Car is a 06 SS/SC. So being a mechanic I ripped the fuse box cover off and bam blown crank fuse, steal the ABS fuse and car started right up.
NOW I know the ABS fuse was bigger, but got the car home and bought a replacement 30amp, With me just thinking the fuse blew because it was hot outside, with the ac cranked up, and being later in the EVE the lights came on(car has HIDS) and with the fuel pump and coolant pump all coming on, that it just was to big of a draw.
BUT now this morn she calls me, stuck a babysitters. Tried the old ABS fuse trick, and it blew that fuse also. NOW I know I got a bigger problem, so I pushed the car and jump started it and got it home, been on here trying to find a direction to go with.
any Idea's? it keeps blowing the crank fuse.

Looks to me from the print that either your starter selinoid is siezed or shorted, also the Purple wire from the fuse box (crank relay)to the starter(Selinoid) could be shorted to ground ,check for visable chaffing and spots were it might be shorting to ground.

did some checking today, took off the main connection at the fuse box, clean connections, didnt seem very tight and put it back together, started it about 15 times now and seems ok.... weird. I hope its nothing else.. really dont like working on the wifes daily when I got race car stuff to take care of

Would it crank crank and not start? I have a similar problem where my car cranks cranks cranks but wont start. Check all fuses and fuel pressure and they aare all good.
