boost pressure drop!!!

hey ive been learning a lot from this sightSo i just bought an 07 SS, and all ive been reading is stock should be around 12 pounds. Well, when i got it it was only around 10. I got the gmpp catback, and stage 2 installed, and the first time i drove it I smiled as i watched the guage at 15psi, and ever since usually only see about12.5. Once in a while it quickly jumps to 14 for a split second near redline. Is there a problem here? The car is still quick, but i need it all so i can keep blowing by my buddies gti Ju.st would like to get some imput so i no wat im talking about if i take her back to the dealer. I love this site by the way.

what elevation are you at? high elevation = less boost.
is your redline 7000? if not, they didnt reflash your ecu.

also, every car isnt going to see the same boost. an increase of 2.5 psi is expected from stage 2. its not unheard of for some cars to only boost 10 psi stock.

lolz. yeah pressin the pedal all the way down might get you a lil more power
no, the boost gauge does not go to zero when you shut the car off. it holds the last reading. it will zero out when the battery power is turned on again
