Boost Problem. I Think

I have been reading people's threads and not getting enough boost and such. Is there a fix you can do yourself or should I take my car into the dealer and have the fix it for me.. People say not to trust the stock gauge cause it's electrical and not mechanical.. But I mean everyone should be readin the same..

I have 6500KM on my car and I am getting 80KPA (11.6psi)

My buddy has something like 14,000KM *give or take* and he is getting 100KPA (14.5psi)

I am just wondering if its the amount of KM he has.. Or if something is wrong..

Nothing's wrong with your car.

#1, the number you see on that gauge can't be trusted because (a) the gauge isn't that precise, and (b) the number you see will vary day to day based on temperature, humidity, etc.

#2, your buddy is not seeing 100kPa. go watch his gauge for yourself, and I bet you 10 bucks that it never sees that high. either he's making it up, or hasn't been watching the gauge closely or from the right angle.

I also have a Canadian one, stock was 80 kPa (11,5 PSI), then with the 3" pulley it hit 100 kPA (14,5 PSI). My stock gauge seems to be 0.5 PSI lower than the test I have made with a mechanical one.

MY buddy isn't making it up.. Cause I saw it for myself.. I even drove the car.. And trust me it's reading 100kpa... I have looked at it many times and it's is for sure saying 100kpa.. I will double check again next time I am in it.. But like I said I am in his car all the time and it's that high for sure..

Did you have to do repramming on the pulley.. I wouldn't mine upgrading my pully.

that would be my SS/SC reaching 100kPa and i know that gauge is not 100% accurate but it does hit and go a little above that mark.......

going to try and do a tripple gauge pod ( prbably look like ****) but hey i like trying things myself..
and im gonna get a psi boost gauge and see what it actually is at...
