They'll know if hes tuned mostly like, and I don't know what hes boosting. I had 21lbs on stock pipes and never blew mine off but, no two cars are alike, I'm boostin 23lbs now on hardened pipes now. I didn't know if you were asking him or me, casue you didnt quote it....

talking to the OP, and yes, they will scan it for a tune, simply because its already so prevalent.

I said that they will most likely know he is tuned, they would even know if he was tuned and flashed back to stock, even if they can't see it on the ecu or pcm they can see it in the BCM, if they scan that. But they won't scan thou, for this is a very very common problem on the 08-09 ss/tc's

but it depends on the dealer my LSJ 05 which I still have was in for warrenty work, I took it in for a ton of stuff. they never even knew it was tuned? but in my opinion the dearlship I was going to didn't care at the time/or they didnt know jack squat.... I do all my own work now.

Well... they would probably not check the PCM history for something like the charge piping since it is a common issue. I'd imagine they'd only go through the trouble if they were doing something more extensive, such as trying to repair an engine internal that broke in a suspicious manner.
