It's all fixed now...after the dealer's customer service told me that the glass was tinted, it was probably scratched and that's why it broke...funny, my tint guys don't use blades since the tint is cut from a plotter...we'll see if the dealership would like to help out with my costs if my loyalty means anything to them...stay tuned...

I love how they just point the finger at tint. How in the hell could a scratch in the glass have anything to do with that. The glass would have to be gouged or something.

**** me...I hate Michigan winter!!!!

The day after a snow storm, I'm in traffic doing roughly 45 and THE mother of an iceburg passes from under the car in front of me...for a split second, I thought of swerving but held steady because of the slick road and then BANG! Everything goes flying inside my car as I hit the dam block with my left front

The tire held air but the sidewall is toast so it needs to be replaced...the camber is way out of wack but thankfully, the wheels is ok...the "service ESC" warning is on...the car is drivable, rides seemigly normal, jounce is ok but the steering wheel is off center now...she's going in for service this Friday and I pray that there's nothing more than a realignment needed....WHAT NEXT?!?!?!

Same thing happened with my friends GTO, but it was while he was on the freeway, and the grass scratched up his paint and everything

Damn man, you pissed off the car gods or something... sorry to hear that, but there is no camber adjustment on this car, so it prolly bent the strut or something....

P.S. there is no way your tint made that happen, just a defective glass!!! Had it happen to me on a cavalier one time, but you could see something was wrong with the window before it happened, it was very distorted to look thru. Weird stuff...

Damage list:

1-bent strut-my dime
2-ECU reset for ESC light-my dime
3-front rotors needed to be turned...warranty
4-new alignment all four-my dime
5-needs new rear pads-my dime

I asked about the rear brakes that has been well questioned here but the dealership said that there has been no recall on this...rear brakes wore out in less than 25k? I rarely brake hard because I time the signals...there should be a recall...

Total damage, $587 (could've been a nice 42" HDTV) thanks to the damn ice...

Rant off...

The good news is that I'll get my baby back by the end of the day...

Well... as far as glass, dealerships rarely if ever, cover that under warranty. Usually if you have glass damage, it automatically ends up being an insurance claim.
