Have any of you guys heard a strange noise coming from the A/C blower motor? it's hard to describe but's it's kind of a whuring noise. my borther has an 05 ss/sc and i have an 06 ss/sc and both of us have the same noise. i was just wondering if this is something that's common in the cobalts before i go back to the stealership and complain. if you guys can just put if you have the noise or not. if you did have it can you tell me what the stealership did to fix it. thanks i really appriciate it!!!

 

Does it happen when you have the AC and the Cabin air on high at the same time? Cause I know I hear it then. I have brought this up to my dealer, but of course when I bring it in and try to have them listen, it doesnt do it. Figures.

 

i have the same problem its almost like a hum and seems as if it could be more power robbing then the a/c alone should be. Maybe the fan is not balanced......idk

 

I think i know what your talking about, mine used to make the first 2000 miles but I havent heard it in a loooong time

 

just front A/C...i dunno about the cabin A/C

 

Don't worry about it. It's normal. I took it to my dealer and the guy thought it was nuts. It's a faint noise, you really have to listen carefully. Most gm cars do this, especially trucks. Apparently its the air circulating through the vents. I don't even notice it anymore. Hope this helps.
