I ran pretty low on gas this morning, stopped and got some, when i got on the freeway my car just lost power, engine light came on, shut off and wouldn't start. Finally got it going but it still sputters, has lack of power and shuts off sometimes when you put it in drive or reverse. Also engine light is still on. Anyone had this prob. or could possibly tell me the prob.?

 

Fuel Pump or Fuel Filter?

 

I was thinking that but hope it's not. No auto part stores have the pump and they'll have to order the filter.

 

Let it run and give it some gas... you may have just pulled some gunk out of the bottom of your tank.
