Car is dead any suggestions?

Was driving at about 75% capacity at WOT in 3rd and i hit about 80 and my car gave a hiccup and shut off.... with my momemtum i decided to kick start it and the car would not start, upon many attempts to start the car the motor sounded like it it coudl kick but it sounded like it was suffocated... no CEL yet.... yes there is fuel in the car... it's not leaking anything...the TB is not stuck and all harnesses are connected... and i was having some noise from the fuel pump for some time...any suggestions?

From my experiences sounds like the fuel pump took a dump or it's not getting power. This could be a bad fuse, bad ground, bad wire, etc. Not too common on newer cars such as these. But had the same thing happen to me in my 95 Talon. Turns out the ground to the fuel pump wasn't tightened to the chassis enough so it didn't get any power. After hours of testing, I finally figured it out, tightened it down and it started right up.

Not sure how to do this, but you should be able to test if the fuel pump is getting power. You should also be able to test if its pumping fuel. Try checking the manual....did they make a Chilton Manual for this car yet??
