Car has problem starting

well my car has a problem starting it takes a very long time to start its juss wont like turn over or sumthing. i started thinging maybe i need a new battery and spark plugs and stuff like that. also my car seems to start smelling like fuel alot. btw its a 2007 pontiac g5. if it is a electrical problem i have a 1200 watt amp 2 10 inch kicker comps, pioneer avh p-4000 2 tvs in the headrest and underglows as well as 2nd gen dual ccfl projectors

Take the battery in to autozone and have it checked. It may be on its way out. If you pull it out and notice it bulging or leaking, then you can skip the testing step.

well i will have to try that then cuz it seems rather odd only when its a cold start and sumtime whens its hot so i dunno wat it is

If the car is turning over real slow when you try to start it or it doesnt tun over at all(you will hear a clicking noise) then the battery would be suspect.
If its turning over fine but not starting for a long time I would say the plug need tobe changed.

it could be an injector and/or regulator related problem if your smelling a lot of fuel. i know gm has had a few problems with them leaking and causing a long crank issue.
