Car pulls to the left!

Ill start by the car. Ls sedan 2.2.
I installed 18" wheels last year and did the whole alingnment job and good stuff like that. For the winter, i threw my steelies back on and did the same, alignment and all. But now my car pulls to the left more at highway speeds, barely at 40 or below. So ive taken it for 2 more alignments and it helps the fitst couple days then back to pulling to the left. Took it to a mechanic and they see nothing bad.
Any suggestions???

tire pressure could be different. low on the left side means it would pull that way

Or a radial pull try crossing the 2 front tires and see if it pulls the other way or stops, and also check the air

But heres the kicker. My 18"s wont do it. Altho their directional tires and i only have one rotation possibility. But my stockers pull the car to left no matter what rotation i do. Im bedazzeled here lol

did you check for bends in the rims, or a tread seperation in the tire? anything to make tire out of round will cause pulls, not always a alignment issue.

Is it pulling so bad you are fighting to keep it on the road? or does it just wander to the left? My car has been aligned and it will wander to the left at highway speeds, I asked a local mechanic and he said it is what it is. According to him some fwd car have a tendency to wander even though nothing is wrong.

Could Be Bent Rim
Shifted Belt in the Tire
Overall Crappy Tires

Are you driving in the far left lane? Because if you are the highways are usually slanted on the outside to help water and what not drain away

I hit a pothole with 500 miles on brand new Nitto 555's . It bulged the side wall on the right front and I had to have a new one put on ..... the car pulled real hard to the right after installing the new tire ....it never pulled before , even with the bulged tire .

I couldn't believe that the tire wear could be that different with 500 miles that it would cause such a pull but thats what did it . I would check the tread and make sure they are still at the same tread depth .

I think it could be the Alignment that is causing it. because your supposed to make the car automatically put to the right slighlty so just incase you let go of your steering wheel (maybe passing out ) you wont go into oncoming traffic.

I would think that having 2 different size rims would throw off the alignment to. You usually align the car with the type of rims and tires you will drive with.. If you change them.. you need a new alignment.. just like you want to align with the regular stuff in the trunk.. subs, tools, anything that would be in there all the time.

just my .02

edit: also could be the tire having a slight bulg, steel radial out of alignment.. **** they make many tires at once.. you could have gotten the misaligned one. and especially if you change the tires all around and still no change.. Im gonna go with alignment.

Tires on my stockers have bout 1000 miles. All new. Pulled before and after new install. And i always get an alignment with every tire set change. I eas just thinking somethings bent maybe. I had my brakes done bout 4 months ago. Helped for like a week. Car dident pull at all. Then started to pull again. Think maybe bad caliper or sumtin??

You could have a caliper hanging up and dragging it to one side ..... you could jack it up and see if one is a lot harder to turn than the other .
