So i go to leave work today and my car decided to not start. It has power to half of everything even the fuel pump, but the trunk and turn signals do not work and the car wont try to start. When i turn the key over i can here the relay clicking but its not trying to turn over at all. Mydometer reads my miles for a couple seconds then just has a line across the panel and wont pull no readings. The car doesnt have no security light poping up and no codes on my scanner. I unhooked the battery for awhile but nothing. This just happend out of the blue. Any tips on some what of a direction i can look twards would be apriciated

Yep, I would go with dead battery too.

 

Ok ill test it or get a new one and post later on, thank you, any tips is better then none.

 

Just a late notice the problem turned out to be the bcm and battery was ok. Thanks again

 

Did you check the main fuse by the battery? It powers nearly everything on the bcm, also runs the power for the ecm/pcm. Make sure it isn't burnt or anything. Have been seeing more and more of those lately.
