The pulley looks ok...
Just make sure all the grooves are ok. You don't want to chew up a belt.
I couldnt find a picture. Check the LSJ build book, and the how to install GMS2 chapter.
You will see what I'm takling about when I say the hub should sit flush to the snout end.
ZZP's hub sticks out a bit from the snout, but their pulley design makes up for that.

Nope.
In that picture of the GMS2 install they are just starting to install the hub. They did not completely press it on yet.
Check out the picture in the beginning of chapter 6. That is a better picture of what im talking about.

Oh, I see what you mean. The back of the hub should be way closer to the end of the snout.
The hub was definitely flush (closer) to the snout until this happened. IDK what went wrong...

That's what I think might have happened to yours. You have been driving around with a not fully pressed on hub, thus causing strain on the snout shaft, and prob causing that rotor to rotor contact as well.

Look closer though - the end of the hub is flush with the end of the shaft. Somehow the whole shaft seems to have shifted out of the snout?
Can you take a pic of your pulley/hub installed on your car?

That can be the other issue. Did you take the snout apart yet? I would inspect it.
I look for a photo for ya.
Thats my next step. A new s/c should be here via ups any minute now, lol.
Has anyone had any luck using a pulley puller/installer from the auto parts store to remove the stock pulley and press on the new hub? I was going to try that or just take it to a machine shop and have them do it.

Here ya go.... Here's what my blower looks like.

I just installed a new smoothflow pulley last Friday, so I'll try and get you a pic later.

Thanks.
I see you have the Stage 2 pulley system. I'm wondering if their modular pulley requires the flat part of the hub to be flush with the end of the shaft as opposed to the smaller diameter end like mine is now?
Can't find a definitive answer!

I now have a smaller smoothflow pulley installed.
The smoothflow hub installs just like the GM stage kit hub. ZZP & intense had a different style hub.
Just found pic of my old M62 with GM stage kit hub installed:

I think if you remove your snout you might find your answer.
Here's a pic of the ZZP 5-bolt hub that came installed on my H62:

Notice the difference?
I feel like mine should be like the ZZP one, with the recess pointing towards the snout and not out?
Maybe not.
I think the hub is on there fine and something happened with the shaft. I'll take it apart later.
Maybe not.

Early Prototype TVS blower.
Has hight twist rotors in a ported M62 casing.
Was used on the Time Attack Cobalt SS. I have one of the 7 total prototypes made.
Yeah, since you have the smoothflow hub, I feel it is snout shaft damage.
Maybe a coupler or bearing got frigged up.

Good news - the s/c I picked up from eBay came with a gm stage 2 hub and pulley already installed. Saved a TON of hassle. Anyway I bolted it on and the car runs awesome.
Still need to pull the old one apart to see what happened.
