Changing axle seal on LNF?
Was wondering if anyone knows of a how-to on changing the axle seals on an LNF? Or can give me a quick run down? Never done one before and can't find much on it.
My buddy has a lift I can use, but I dont know if I should just let my neighbor who owns a shop do it instead.

Instead of taking the ball joint loose its easier "for me" to take the caliper off, hang it so you don't pull on the brake hose, take the strut loose from the knuckle and turn the knuckle to the side to pull the axle out of the hub. It calls for a special tool but a large screwdriver can pry out the seal, just don't damage the bore on the tcase
You'll probably need to use a prybar to get the axle out of the trans, it has a clip that holds it in, it just kind of pops out.
Not a hard job at all to do. just make sure you have fluid to top off the trans bc you will lose some.
