Changing Oil on the SS/SC

Please forgive me if this has been dealt with, but I did a search and came up with no real information. Has anyone done an oil change on the SS/SC and if so, how did you get around the supercharger? We can't get the filter off without take the supercharger cover off and then the dealership said that would void my warranty. I did see where someone posted pictures of how to do an oil change, but it didn't look like they had a supercharger on it. I asked my dealership and they said they have not had to change oil on one of these and wasn't sure how it was to be billed out.

Get a 32mm socket and a long extension....put the socket on from underneath the supercharger and then put the extension on it...

I did search, but the pictures showed the one without the Supercharger. The problem is, how do you remover the filter with the supercharger in the way?

you stick you have under the the S/C and pull the filter and cap out. You will get the hang of it after a couple times haha.

I love how that "How To" says to use a 1 1/4" socket. It is actually metric, 32mm as stated above.

they sell an actual socket from mac ect. They are fairly cheap and you could keep in in the glovebox. They are good to have.

Thank you guys. I will show my husband, I am sure he has a 32mm if not it just gives him another reason to buy more tools. I saw the post, but wasn't sure it was for the SS/SC. He will love to be able to do this himself.

I used a 1 1/4, which is actually slightly smaller than 32 mm. Worked fine for me...
