Clicking noise at cold start

Hi

Each morning when i start my car i hear a little metal clicking noise, this sound is louder when it rev it up and it dissapear after 20 sec. It s seem to came front the engine bay and under the car. Does it could be the exhaust because someone have the same noise at cold start up i think ?????

i get it all the time. im pretty sure if its what i think ur talking about, its just how the exhaust is.

Yep mine did the same thing, I talked to a service tech at the dealership and he said that the header gasket had a crack in it and that the reason the noise would go away is b/c the gasket would expand and close the crack. So I went and had it changed and well guess what that fixed it! So just go into your local Chevrolet dealership and tell them that when you crank your car up it has a ticking noise and tell them that it is the header gasket and that it needs to be replaced! Thats what worked for me, hope this helps!
