So as I am in my garage fixing my sunroof problems I leave the car to go take a **** and for some reason my ******* closes the driver side door. As the door swings closed it just bounces back open and doesn't latch at all. So again I push it closed and again it doesn't latch. So then I go and try the handle and it feels super loose. So then I go inside the car and try the power locks. The locks work just fine as in the lock by the window moves up and down with the button. So then I try one more time and the door closes and latches. So I feel a huge sigh of relief. So I thought! As I come back and try to open my driver door the handle will not release the door. So I climb in through the passenger side and try the handle on the inside of the drivers door. This does not release the door either. So I try the power locks. Locks work again just fine but the door will not release. I have no clue what this could be. I tried searching here on the forums but no one I found has had the same issue as I am having. Both the interior and exterior door handles for the driver door feel as if they would if the door was locked. Like there is no tension on them at all. Please somebody help me! I need this car for responding to calls for the fire dept, so I need this fixed ASAP!

 

So after getting to the 5th page of searching I found a solution and fixed the problem. One problem down one to go!
