Question Cobalt pulls to the drivers side

my 09,auto, 2.2l, aprox 20k miles cobalt pulls to the drivers side.

I can only assume it is a wheel alignment issue...unless anyone can suggest a common problem to check for? My warranty is up... so I wanna ensure I check things first to avoid getting muliple alignments.

Do our cars need 4 wheel alignment? or strictly a front alignment???

Check your tire pressure and for a stuck brake. Both cost nothing and are easy.

Front only, the rear is non-adjustable. You should only need to get it aligned once and if it pulls after that you have another issue.

Tire pressure is bang on even all the way around. The brakes look fine

I guess I will shell out 80 bucks an get an alignment (expensive in canada)... I hope it fixes it.

All i can add in is make sure when you are doing these tests for alignment that the road is exactly straight. When driving on most highways and you are in the left lane you get a pull to the left a lot. Be exactly sure that you do need an alignment. Alignment angles for the cobalt are toe and camber, but to adjust camber you need a special bolt for the strut, it's really not needed to adjust it unless it is completely off and is causing un even tire wear. Set the toe and let it go.

rear toe and camber is adjustable with full contact shims know this for a fact on my 06 ss sc as I'm an alignment tech

robertmichaels Sounds like you have too little caster which allows the car to "follow" the ruts in the road as for the OP sounds like your camber is off to much negative on the passenger side or to much positive on the driver side remember camber pulls to the higher side caster pulls to the lower side on my local roads I need aprox .5 degrees pulling to the left to go straight but will vary with road crown
