alright so here's the deal. when i start the car theres a white smoke screen that lasts maybe a minute or so then it's gone (from what i know that means coolant)
then when i go to rev it a few times it's back for another minute, then gone again.
i've checked all my levels and everything checks out.
i've also ran it with the oil cap off and no smoke or milky oil.
water in the exhaust maybe?

 

White smoke is definatly coolant. Might be a cracked in the head but thats not very likely. Typically cobalt heads warp and the coolant mixs in the oil. Whats the run down on the car? Type, mileage, and such?

 

06 ss/sc. bone stock other than a cai.

 

Check your intercooler coolant level. I'm betting one of the Laminova cooling tubes is cracked or the seals are leaking into the intake.

 

white smoke coming from exhaust,or from under the hood it self...if its under the hood,its coolant drippin onto something hot and starts to create white smoke
