Coolant leak...
Ok,so i have an 06 ss/sc and have been having this problem for over 7 months.
The "low coolant" on the dash will come on after a week of just filling it up with coolant. I hafta put in atleast a gallon of coolant every 2 weeks. its not leaking onto my driveway or anything. ive driven it sround for probably 3 weeks without putting any in it. the other night it actually over heated. so i had my dad check the oil and it was brownish white and he said there was water in the oil and antifreeze coming out of the exhaust (Blown head gasket) so i took it to the dealer to "confirm" the problem, and they say nothing is wrong with it did a pressure test and held at 15 psi for over an hr. found no traces of coolant in the oil. (but they did not do the dye test) they checked the hoses for leaks and found none.
can someone please help me with this im going insane and am about ready to just trade it in...

well if you oil was milky looking there is definately coolant getting in there somewhere... it doesn't just evaporate. dealers are hit and miss sometimes... i had the same problem on my 09... turns out it was a porous block which is a defect in the 09's... i would say keep an eye on it and if it gets low on coolant again take it right back to the dealership and show them the empty resevoir... then explain to them that you just filled it recently and that there is obviously a problem with the car somewhere...or take it to a third party garage that has a good reputation they may be able to find out what is wrong.
goodluck!
