Diesel in the cobalt

Im trying to help someone fix her car, its a 2.2L Cobalt and was filled up with diesel...

It was not driven very far, just away from the gas station AFAIK.

This is my brothers girlfriend, this is a list I got my brother to make about what hes done to try to fix her car.

Just looking for suggestions from some people here...

Did she not realize the nossle didn't fit in the car? What's wrong with people lol. I know how to fix gas in diesel. Add karasene , this I don't know though

Probably pull the tank out, rinse the diesel out, clear the fuel lines, and fuel pump, change fuel filter, put it all back together and hope for the best?

We had a couple cars come in that got regular instead of diesel and they got everything... Tanks, lines, injectors, pumps...

Deffenately change the filter, might need injectors....
