i dream of not having a noisy tensioner and burning out in your godcar lmao.

that also seems the best way to get rid of the noisy tensioner...im thinking its because the belts too big but i dont wanna go a smaller pulley and put on the stage 2 belt i have because i think ill blow my car up like that.

i had to replace the assembly, it was squeaking/grinding too much.

i must say.. it was kinda of a pain in the ass. the bottom bolt u gotta undo is inbetween the wheel well and u only got like an inch of room to play with. so i couldn't fit a socket in there had to turn it like 20 degrees at a time with a wrench... so if ur gonna do this, anyone, i would recommend getting a socket wrench for the job. sorry don't know the size. peace

if you tell me its completely solve the grinding noise then ill do it because i took it apart in hopes to quiet it down with silicone and it did for 3 weeks...

i think its 5/8 if i remember correctly. I found the perfect size wrench for it and btw dont let the damn socket fall in the small gap in between the wheel well and the engine bay.

my tensioner was fine before i went sc then when i went sc i broke my stock one and got a used one from the junkyard so not sure if thats why mine is noisy. Im hoping later on to get a adjustable tensioner from zzp

my theory is the cylinder is weaker than when it was new causing the belt to slip/jump...

Just replace the tensioner pulley, their like 15 bucks at the auto parts store, with new bearings, and takes about five mins to swap, yeah, their sealed, but dirt and stuff from the belt still get in the bearing and cause it to make noise
