driver side window starting to squeak any ideas

just like the title states my driver side window is starting to squeak when i roll window down..i was goin to take it in to dealership but i wonder if some wd40 would help....any and all answers welcomed.... PUTS FLAME SUIT ON!!

you need to take the door panel off and lube the run channel on the window regulator. wd40 wont get to it and will end up drying up. get some dielectric grease or something to that effect.

Yeah mine does that sometimes too.Ive been to lazy to do anything about it though.I think its coming from that felt strip that runs across the window.Roll the window down and try cleaning it off.Theres probably some dirt there causing it to squeek.Or you can try spraying some silicone down the window channels.

WHITE LITHIUM GREASE is what you want to use.
