Drivetrain Problem!! Unusual Noises

Okay hello everyone,

You may have recalled that I thought my turbo was going because I heard some strange noises but I later corrected myself and said the transmission was becoming a little louder.

Well guess what, its pretty damn loud now and coming from the front left wheel!!! I checked the rotor and break thinking something is scraping across the rotor every now and then but they look fine ?!?!!?

The noise is intermittent and only occurs when im rolling with my foot off the gas at any speed. The intermittent noise gets faster as I go faster. When I accelerate the noise dissappears. Very strange. I just rotated my wheels too after cleaning them spick and span. I have my ideas as too what it is but I want to see what you guys think?

The noise sounds like a squeeky bed spring... or maybe a thick metal wire dragging across a slotted rotor I guess? Again Rotors look normal front and back, nothing is dragging. I can almost FEEL something through the steerwheel as the noise occurs.

My brand new trans makes noises in low gear's lugging around quite often, was stuck in a construction zone against a concrete barrier and it was quite loud, like loose **** inside. Exciting.

This is all gears. If I throw the clutch in, the noise is still there. If I use the brakes, the noise quites down a bit. Its wierd. Thats why I thought it might be the brakes at first.

You can't just ask for help with an issue and then not tell everyone how you solved it lol what'd you do leave a bolt out of the brakes or forget a lug? lol

Hey at least you caught it before something got damaged. Everyone makes mistake sometimes. Plus if you're clever, you could say that you did this the same day as eating your special bag of cheetos and that they altered your ability for quality work
