Question EBC green stuff pads

how long do EBC green stuff pads last???? i installed them summer of 2010 along with EBC sport rotors.. and some times when i brake the right one makes a loud squealing sound when iam around 10-0mph..i never installed the metal feeler that scrapes against the rotors when i installed them cuz i could see them threw my summer rims now that i got my winter rims on i cant see a thing. could i need new pads or might there just be dust on them? please help me i dont wanna destroy my rotors.and its way 2 cold out here 2 take the rim off and look lol.. mabey ill do it on my break at work tomorrow.

Googled it, it's currently -7C. Go look at your pad/rotor and find out.

Maybe wear a coat .

I had EBC Greenstuffs on a previous car with stock rotors. They are a soft pad and don't eat rotors. What is the sport rotor? Drilled, slotted or what?

I never had a problem using stock rotors. It is probably just dirt buildup. However, EBC pads do have a reputation of squealing if the bedding procedure is not followed religiously. When did they start squealing?

yeah there Slotted & Dimpled i think its just dirt/brake dust build up..they start squealing when the brakes are warm/hot and under heavy braking
